Ridge City
Ridge City is a charity organisation operating out the Mariannridge area that helps people in need through various programs. They were in need of a website upgrade and a rebrand to better advertise what they do and allow a channel for the general public to get in touch with them and offer their services, a donation, or simply volunteer their time. We teamed up with FirstView Media and assisted with the development of the website free of charge as part of our social responsibility programme.

Project-O
Project O is a charity working with AIDS orphans in Zulu communities within Durban, South Africa. Their main vision is to see African AIDS orphans fully supported, within extended families or 100% self sufficient homes where children are nurtured in a safe, caring and loving environment, providing hope and the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Part of our contribution to Project-O has been the design, distribution and management of their email newsletter and mailing lists. Zimbabwe Mercy Run
With the world economy going belly up and people relocating (by the thousands) for greener pastures no one really knows what the future holds. People in Zimbabwe are desperate for supplies – they have access to very little and whatever is available comes at an exorbitant price! The basic necessities of life are what these people are trying to live without. The water is no longer clean… most government schools have not re-opened for some time… and for someone who is still employed – their monthly salary can barely buy a loaf of bread!
nologo studios teamed up with the guys from Activate who hooked up a Toyota Quantum and a VW Kombi - and from there all we did was ensure that they were filled with as many supplies as possible. We plan on making 3 trips per year where we will meet up with our Zimbabwean friends who have committed to distribute the supplies to the families in his community.
We’d like to make these trips as worthwhile as possible and therefore ask that you seriously consider contributing by way of either money or supplies. Our first trip was on the 19th of March 2009 and was a great success
